General Government surplus at 1.6% of GDP half term, same as last year

General Government surplus stood at €557.6 mn (1.6% of GDP) for the period of January-June 2025, according to the preliminary General Government fiscal results, prepared by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (CYSTAT). During the same period of 2024, there was a surplus of €550.7 mn (also at 1.6% of GDP).
