The Council of the European Union on Friday approved implementing decisions making financial assistance under the SAFE instrument available to Czechia and France, with Cyprus’ Minister of Defence, Vasilis Palmas, stating that strengthening the Union’s defence readiness and strategic autonomy is a key priority of the Cypriot Presidency.
