The European Union, through its aid programme for the Turkish Cypriot community, is funding the installation of an 840 kW (AC) photovoltaic system at the Nicosia New Wastewater Treatment Plant in Mia Milia. The project is being implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under the Local Infrastructure Facility (LIF).
