The Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU “is ready to take on this responsibility and advance the European transport agenda,” focusing on how “to establish and strengthen strong and reliable connections that will contribute to European unity and cohesion,” Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Alexis Vafeades, said on Thursday in statements upon his arrival at the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council (TTE) in Brussels, during which he will present the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency on the transport sector.
