Registration Opens for High-Level European Conference “Skills for Digital Autonomy: Empowering a Resilient Society”

European University Cyprus and the CYBER.EUC Research Center announce that registration is now open for the high-level European conference “Skills for Digital Autonomy: Empowering a Resilient Society”, held under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026 and the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides.

The conference will take place on Friday, 5 June 2026, at the Cultural Centre at European University Cyprus and will bring together European policymakers, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence experts, academics, industry leaders, public sector representatives, SMEs, educators, and civil society stakeholders.

The event will serve as a premier platform for discussing the future of digital resilience, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and advanced digital skills, highlighting Europe’s strategic priorities for strengthening digital autonomy and building a resilient society.

The program will feature high-level keynote speeches, expert panels, strategic discussions, and valuable networking opportunities with leading figures from across Europe and beyond.

Limited number of seats and early registration is strongly recommended.

CYBER.EUC

CYBER.EUC is the specialized Cybersecurity Research Centre of European University Cyprus, dedicated to strengthening the digital security and resilience of public and private sector organizations. Through research, consulting services, innovation, and participation in national and European projects, the Centre develops practical solutions to address contemporary cyber threats. It also serves as a hub for collaboration among academia, industry, and policymakers, promoting knowledge transfer and the development of specialized skills in cybersecurity. The Centre is directed by Dr. Yianna Danidou, Chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Cybersecurity.
