President von der Leyen participates in the GLOBSEC Forum, in Prague
Tomorrow, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will travel to Czechia to participate in the GLOBSEC Forum, taking place in Prague from August 30 to September 1. She will be accompanied by the Vice-President for Values and Transparency, Věra Jourová, who will be also taking part in the panel discussion of the Forum at the Prague Castle.
President von der Leyen will deliver a keynote speech, following the interventions of the chairman of the GLOBSEC Forum and former Vice Chancellor and Finance Minister of Austria, Wilhelm Molterer, and the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, who will be hosting the event.
The President of the European Commission will receive the Czech and Slovak Transatlantic Award at the GLOBSEC Award Ceremony, which will take place in the evening. She will deliver an acceptance speech.
