We must continue our efforts to achieve a solution to the Cyprus problem, that safeguards Cyprus' sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, Minister of Defence Vassilis Palmas said on Sunday. Palmas represented the President of the Republic at a memorial service for the people of the community of Kambos who fell during the Turkish invasion of the island in 1974.
