European Commission Executive Vice President for Cohesion and Reforms Raffaele Fitto will visit Cyprus in his first trip to the island under his new capacity as the EU's Special Representative on the Cyprus issue, with a Commission spokesperson confirming to CNA that Fitto will meet with President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides as well as Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman, a day after the conclusion of a visit to the island by UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
