Cyprus authorities have placed an order for 40 state-of-the-art ABC Gates which are expected to be received by the end of this year and put into operation in the passenger halls of the island's two airports as soon as possible, Minister of Justice and Public Order Costas Fytiris said. He explained that this is done in the context of preparing for the operation of the European Entry-Exit System and the replacement of all passport control equipment.
