President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, congratulated Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, on becoming the longest-serving Prime Minister in the history of the Italian Republic. He also said that ''the excellent relations between Cyprus and Italy encourage us to continue our close cooperation towards a stronger Europe and a more secure Mediterranean.''
