Average household deposit rate down in July, average lending rate increases

The average interest rate on household deposits in Cyprus fell to 1.27% in July 2026, while the interest rate on housing loans rose to 3.24%, with both rates below their respective euro area rates, according to data published on Monday by the Central Bank of Cyprus for each credit institution for July.
