House of Representatives President, Annita Demetriou, met with Slovak officials on Monday, during her official visit to the country, following an invitation from the President of the National Council of Slovakia, Richard Raši. A statement by the House of Representatives notes that the Slovak officials emphasised their support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Cyprus and for the goal of resolving the Cyprus issue in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions, as well as for Cyprus' accession to Schengen zone.
