The Italian Minister for Sports and Youth, Andrea Abodi in an interview with CNA expressed the wish sports would regain the ability to serve as a channel for good relations between nations and for peace, so that peace may prevail in the Middle East and the world in general. Abodi spoke to CNA on the occasion of the 20th Mediterranean Games 2026, that will be held in the city of Taranto, Southern Italy.
