Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said Friday that the temporary exercise of additional new duties of the US Ambassador to Cyprus, Julie Davis, as US Charge d'Affaires to Ukraine, enables the Republic of Cyprus to have a more close deepening of its relations with the US, as the Ambassador will have a direct channel of communication with the US leadership.
