The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) revised upwards its forecast for economic growth this year by 0.4 percentage points in its September 2026 projections, compared with its June 2026 forecast, and by 0.2 percentage points for 2027 on Thursday. GDP growth is now projected at 2.9% in 2026 and 3.1% in both 2027 and 2028. At the same time, the inflation forecast was also revised upwards, while labour market projections were revised downwards.
